Holiday? Did I hear you say holiday, Dad? I did.
I did. Can I take my new bucket and spade with us? We are going
to the seaside, aren't we? Oh, and my new collar. The girls will
find me irresistable, lying on the sand, wearing that blue collar
you bought me for my birthday last week, Will we go swimming? Will
we? Oh do say we will. I love swimming. And beach football. Remember
last year how I saved the goal that the wise crack Spaniel thought
he'd scored? I showed him, didn't I, dad! When are we going? When?
Tomorrow? TOMORROW?? I have a million things to do before them.
